≈≈ 3 PODIUMS AT THE JUNIOR FRENCH NATIONALS » 3 PODIUMS AT THE JUNIOR FRENCH NATIONALS 03/11/2010 ShareThis The "French nationals" is the big event for the French surfing youth: Not only does it gather the country's best mainlanders and islanders in a unique battle, it also serves as a stepping stone for the French national team. Biarritz was the perfect battle field for the event last week and our own Volcom "Frenchies" stood up to the challenge. In the under 16 division PC Distinguin, surfed sharp and progressive all the way to third place. PC showed cold blood in all his heats and demonstrated he's got a big arsenal of turns. This championship being the season's last event, PC is now free to go "on the road" around the world and will regularly post some fresh news and clips about his journey here on the Volcom Europe website... Congratulations also to Charly Quivront who ended up in 5th place falling just short of the final, but showing promising skills. Congratulations to William Aliotti our recent addition to the team for his excellent second place in the juniors under18. "Will I am" really stamped the championship with his "all or nothing" approach. Going for big airs and looking for the tube anytime he had a chance, William ended up posting a solid 18 points total out of 20 in the final, with a 9.5 for a crazy aerial 360°. He ended up second to an in form Dimitri Ouvre, and puts one foot in the door for the French team.
